Fox Hollow Dogs provides specialized dog day care and training services to Franklin County with a focus on supporting both ends of the leash. Our services are centered on both changing canine behavior, and providing community resources to best meet the needs of dogs and the people who love them.
Fox Hollow Dogs is the dream of Finn Cross KPA-CTP, CCUI. Finn has been in love with dogs since before they could speak and has worked in the dog industry for over 20 years, working in rescue, boarding, day care, vet med, training and more!
Finn has learned much on their journey through dogs and their favorite thing is to share the knowledge they have gained over the years. They started Fox Hollow Dogs in February of 2021 with the focus on supplying their community with positive reinforcement training through classes, one on one sessions and socilization hikes.
Through the 5 years Fox Hollow has existed we have grown so much. In March of 2024, Fox Hollow shifted directions to be more aligned with Finn's vision with the start of our Day School program, a dog day care that is more than just day care, it's your dog's preschool. Day School focuses on building specialized social groups between dogs, create dog-centered enrichment activities and training that ranges from daily life skills to fun tricks!
We started with just Finn in their backyard 3 days a week with a handful of dogs, to this year expanding to 5 days a week, with 33 families utilizing the school and hiring two employees to make sure as our quantity goes up, our quality doesn't diminish.
We are quickly growing out of the barn that Finn has updated to hold our Day School Program and we would love to find a space that can hold the Day School program as well as the unique group training classes Finn has been offering at another facility out of state.
Fox Hollow is looking for a larger place to call home! We found the perfect location that would enable us to expand our Day School program to reach more dogs, allow us to hold our training classes in the same location, and will create capacity to offer more one on one sessions to our community. This space will also allow us to build a store front that will offer dog supplies such as training supplies, toys, enrichment items, high end treats and more in the next phase after we move in.
While we are confident that we can sustain the cost of running this facility once we are up and running, we are looking for the community's support with the upfront costs of moving into our new space and preparing it for the dogs.
