Injured Kitten Needs Help

This little boy was found under a rosemary bush on the morning of Sunday, June 20th by a close friend of ours.

He was struggling to walk and clearly in distress. My friend immediately rushed him to the vet. Cost wasn't the concern, getting him the help he needed was their biggest priority.

The inital outlook was that he needed surgery for the damage to his eye & mouth, as well as a course of antibiotics for infection. The cost was quoted at $1500+ and it was suggested he be turned over to the humane society (overcapacity) for further treatment. Worried that he'd simply be put down, they chose to approve the surgery.

During all of this, additional damage was discovered to his tail. Not just damage, but maggots and necrotizing tissue from infection. So they approved the surgery for partial tail removal.

He's been resting, eating, and regaining his strength over the last week. Saturday 6/26 was his follow-up appointment where he received another round of antibiotics and testing/bloodwork for any additional health issues... but it was discovered that his tail isn't healing.
The tail is degloving (the underlying tissue connecting the skin to the tail is continuing to deteriorate)... So the vet has advised that an additional portion of his tail needed to be removed.

This poor boy is underwent a 2nd surgery which added on another $800 to his bill.

They aren't sure what additional costs might come up. They're just doing their best to give him a fighting chance. Right now his vet bills have totalled over $2,400 and he will still need at least 1-2 more follow-up visits after his newest surgery (and possibly another surgery)
Any help at all is greatly appreciated. 

We'll be keeping everyone appraised of his progress in the coming weeks.
Anything raised over his costs will go to a local animal rescue.
