We are writing with a heavy heart that Foto Club will be closed from here on out. We suffered two break-ins and thefts in the past 2 weeks. Many things were damaged and stolen. We lost a lot of inventory, audio gear, and essential items (to the tune of over $10,000) and were left with a huge mess to clean up but most importantly NO ONE WAS PHYSICALLY HURT.

As some of you may have heard, we had planned to close by the end of October 2025 and had been running on a scaled back schedule and staff. We had 15 events left on the calendar but these break-ins forced us to seize operations completely and cancel the remainder of our events.

We are hoping some of the stolen goods will be covered by insurance and at the moment are mostly concerned about our staff and the two months of work that were lost.

In hopes that we can help raise some funds for the staff, we are starting a gofundme. The goal is based on what they would have made in September and October. We will divide it up as best we can for those workers.

We’d like to personally say THANKS to Foto Staff (2021-pres), all the bands that came through, & the members and folks that have come out of the woodwork and supported us over these last 5 years.

If we’re being honest, running Foto has been a tremendous pain in the ass (with many good times scattered throughout). In spite of the nonsense and headaches, we managed to pull off over 400 shows since August 2021, which isn’t half bad.

We are looking forward to what comes next!
