Help Foster Parrots Rebuild After a Devastating Fire

In the early morning hours of April 1, 2021, a devastating fire swept through Foster Parrots' sanctuary in Hope Valley, Rhode Island, taking the lives of 90 precious resident parrots, and shattering our hearts forever. 5600 sq. ft., representing 1/3 of our facility, burned to the ground. The remaining building was highly compromised. We are now rebuilding from the ground up. Over 300 surviving parrots are asking for your help!

Foster Parrots Ltd. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and protection of unwanted and abused companion parrots and other displaced captive exotic animals. We receive 700 - 1000 requests for surrender every year. We facilitate education programs and adoptions for animals who rely on human companionship, but our primary function is to serve as a lifelong sanctuary for those who have suffered abuse, neglect, and other extreme circumstances.

Our brand new sanctuary building will allow us to support the 300 avian residents who survived the fire, and continue rescuing animals long into the future. Your donation goes directly toward the construction of our new sanctuary, creating a safe home for those who need it most.
