On February 10th Fortino was in the process of connecting a car to be towed on the side of the freeway when he was hit by a car. Fortino was underneath the car at the time and was dragged under the car upon impact. He is currently in the hospital with two broken hands, a broken wrist and being monitored for further injuries. Because of his injuries, he will not be able to work for an unknown period of time.
