Forrest came into my life two and a half years ago when he was just a puppy. He was facing euthanasia due to trauma to his back leg, but I took him in and made the difficult decision to have his leg amputated. From the moment we met, I felt an immediate connection with Forrest, and we have been inseparable ever since. He has brought so much joy and love into my life, and I am grateful for every day we have together.

Recently, Forrest passed a foreign body and quickly developed Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis (HGE), a condition that can become life-threatening in a matter of hours. He was hospitalized right away, but things became even more complicated when he developed an abnormal heart arrhythmia (PVC). His prognosis is uncertain, and we still don’t know the underlying cause of his decline. I have already invested thousands of dollars into his care, but Forrest continues to need hospitalization, follow-up visits, medications, and will likely need to see specialists. There is also a high risk of complications as he fights to recover.
