If you had the good fortune to be able to have a family that supports and cares for you no matter how old you are consider yourself one of the lucky souls on this earth. For thousands and thousands of former foster youth who age out of the system... they are on their own. COMPLETELY. No back up. No safety net. No 'in a pinch' help.

We have a couple of housing emergencies that we need help with ASAP. These youth have fought tooth and nail to get into "affordable housing" in California (which is still over $1,300 a month). One car repair, large bill or getting laid off can mean losing everything and back to homelessness.

Please, please consider any amount of donation to help keep them in decent housing and not on the street. I am Jae Williams and have been working with aged out Youth for over 20 years.
