This is Forest. A 3-month-old puppy who has already endured more pain than most will in a lifetime. She was found abandoned on the street, dragging her lifeless back legs across hot, rough asphalt—her body bearing the wounds of both an unknown accident and survival on her own.

When rescued, Forest was rushed to the vet. X-rays revealed a heartbreaking reality: complete paralysis in her lower body. The initial vet recommended double amputation, but we couldn’t give up on her that quickly.

Forest has now been transferred to a clinic where a specialist, Dr. Wita, is giving her a fighting chance. The next step in her journey is a Myelogram, a specialized procedure that could reveal more about her spinal injury and guide us toward the best possible care plan.
