Help Forest record their third Kamerin album

Help Forest, angel-voiced nonbinary songwriter and singer, record the album they’ve been writing for the past several years.

In particular, this album speaks to their journey as a transgender person, the process of self-discovery and ultimately the celebration of their identity. At a time when trans rights are feeling scarily tenuous, it feels especially important to share work that celebrates transness and trans joy. Their most recent single, "To Finally See the Sun," is a demo version that will be included on the album with full orchestration.

This album will not be a solo one – Forest has composed stunning parts for string trio (some of which were performed live at the Antenna Cloud Farm Music Festival last September). Most of the songs will be gloriously layered with strings and, if funds permit, horns, percussion, and bass. There will also be original album art by artist Gabrielle Lanza.

All funds will go toward paying all instrumentalists, studio time, mixing the work, and an album release show.
