Meet Ford. Ford is a 22 year old young man with DMD(Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy). This HORRIBLE disease causes muscle to never develop on these young men and some ladies. As a result their bodies decline slowly over time. As you can see Ford has a peg tube and a trach. Ford now only has limited movement in his fingers and toes. Daily life with him is like having someone on the ICU floor of the hospital. 24/7 care must be provided. Currently we are trying to make shower days a little easier on him, caregivers, and family by getting a different shower chair and eventually hoping to remodel to a walk in shower if we can raise enough money and find a contractor. We ask if you can donate and feel Ford deserves the safest and easiest ways to care for him under circumstances to please donate. If you can not donate please we ask for all the prayers possible that we can provide Ford the safest and best care possible as this HORRIBLE disease takes him away little by little.
