Help for Zandra’s Dad

My name is Stephanie and many of you know one of my very best friends, Zandra.  Zandra is the artistic director at Regina’s wonderful arts venue - The Exchange, and one of the best people on earth. She is out of this world generous and caring and would do anything to help someone. She is also one of the hardest working and most dedicated people I have ever met. 

On top of all of this, she is a loving daughter. Recently, Zandra’s dad Elmer has had some medical setbacks and the family is now facing some unforeseen struggles that are weighing heavily upon them. Elmer needs to be placed in a temporary care home in Regina, until one of his preferred locations becomes available. This is causing a great deal of stress at the moment - as it is just not something that the funds are immediately available for. For someone who already works an excess of overtime to be talking about trying to see if she can pick up additional hours etc - it is just too much and I am worried she is going to greatly over-work herself, on top of already carrying the worries around about her dad on her shoulders. It’s too much!

This is my call to the community of Regina! ESPECIALLY the music community (who I know for a fact collectively has the biggest heart imaginable). If Covid wasn’t currently a thing, I would want to organize the biggest fundraising show around - but that is just not possible at this time - so I am now asking for your help, for someone who would absolutely never ask for it, herself. 

Any bit you can put towards this will help and speaking on behalf of Sandy (who I hope won’t kill me for doing this) it would be so immensely appreciated that it cannot be sufficiently put into words. So, if you can - please let’s help this wonderful woman and her wonderful dad.

(I feel like this is horribly written so I apologize! But to truly know Zandra is to love her and you will not meet a more loving person than she. If I had all the cash myself - I would give it all to her....but you know how it goes. Thanks everyone ❤️)
