On 7/11 my daughter Eionna "Yama" woke up vomiting. We thought it was a virus. She was admitted in the hospital 3 times before the doctors took the situation serious. It took the doctors more than a month to find out what was wrong with my baby. She stayed at PICU in Greenville from 8/9-8/15...until they couldnt do anything to help. She was life flighted to Duke on 8/15 due to her medical condition had deteriorated. She was placed on a ventilator due to she couldn't breathe on her own after having seizures. After running numerous test Duke figured out that she had an autoimmune disease called NMO "Neuromyelitis optica " which affect the brain, spine and eyesight. My prayers was for God to bring her back to my normal Yama but on this pass Friday the doctor gave us the most devastating news that her conditioned worst. The disorder was fighting every medication they gave her. My life turned for the worst due to the illness of my daughter. Right now I'm asking for help for hotel expenses, gas, food and other important necessities for me to get back and forth to Duke to spend time with my daughter. I am currently out of work due to the condition of my daughter. Whatever anyone can give will be a help and blessing to me.
