Help for woman that saved man's life

Hi I am the son of the woman that selflessly put her own life at risk to save the man that was shot last Thursday evening on June 16th 2022. He stumbled down the street out of a bad bad house and stood in front of my mom's car screaming I have been shot . My mom then told my brother to get out of the car and run home and call the police . While she was doing this the man who was brutally shot by a shotgun opened her door and just climbed in. On the car there are no power locks so she could not lock the door. My mother looked at the man he had no hand and most of his arm was just hanging on there. He beged and pleaded for my mom to drive him to the hospital as he did not want to die. So not knowing who this person was or if she was safe she drove this man to the hospital reassuring this man. This stranger the whole time he is going to be OK. Keeping him awake and not passing out. Then helping him into the emergency room . My mom is distraught can't sleep can't function. She is dealing with trauma so great. NOW THE PROBLEM.

Icbc say that cleaning the blood is not covered under the insurance policy. My mom should not have to go though this . She can't even walk past the car without breaking down . My little brother either. All she is asking is to have her car cleaned the blood gone . Even though I don't think and no one close to her thinks she should ever get back in that car again. But my mom is on disability and she can not afford to get a new car or vehicle. And she was even going to try to clean the blood out herself but we have stopped her from doing that. My brother is autistic so the car is so badly needed. Both for him and my mother.

I tell my mother she is amazing she went above and beyond for this man. And saved his life. And that's how she is . Helps how ever she can to anyone she can. But now she is second guessing how she even can be that kind of person again . Blaming herself for this . As now she has a car that is full of blood . And not usable and that she can't do anything about it . That icbc won't and that she went above and beyond and she feels like no one will do the same as she is a victim here too.
