Help for Wolfie James

My beloved Wolfie James is currently in the care of Oakland Veterinary Referral Services after spending a day at my local vet. He was not eating, very lethargic, nor going for his walks prior to me taking him in. The vet did blood work and discovered his liver levels were off and in desperate need of fluids and did a blood transfusion at OVRS. He will several more transfusions in the coming days.
I am seeking out the help of my friends and family to assist me in the unexpected high veterinary treatment costs he will need for the next several days in their care. He is expected to be there 3-6 days to get his red blood cells to normal levels. At this time, they are still trying to diagnose the underlying issues causing his levels to be off. At the initial consultation, they quoted me 7-10k for his stay and treatment. I am working to attain loans and other assistance, but I am in great need for some help from my friends and family at this point to save Wolife.
As you all know, Wolfie is my world and the most important thing in my life. He has been my loyal partner and friend for 10 years. He has a lot of life to live, and I can't imagine losing him this soon.
In light of covid, I lost my job, causing financial hardships, so this added unexpected expense is added stress. I have fortunately started working again recently, and was able to cover the down payment and the costs at the first vet. I am lovingly asking for any help. He is a very important part of my life and brings me the greatest joy and love.
