Help for Wild Bill
Donation protected
My name is Chelsey and I am Bills big sister. Last week, Bill took the first step in feeling better and went to the hospital. He was admitted and is still currently an inpatient. When discharged, he will be going to an inpatient treatment facility. He has struggled with addiction since he was a teenager, using drugs and alcohol to cope with his severe depression and anxiety. Last week is the lowest point I have ever seen his mental health get to and it was truly heartbreaking.
If you have had the pleasure of knowing my brother, you know that he has the biggest heart around. Bill makes friends wherever he goes. He is outgoing and hilarious and his smile is contagious. He would do anything for anyone because he never wants anyone to be hurt or struggling. He is amazing and it’s time for him to get better and realize that.
I am starting this gofund me for him to help with his unpaid time off of work. We do not know how long he will need to be off and he is already mentioning the stress of it with bills, etc. We don’t want him worrying about anything, just focusing on feeling better. Any donations made will be used for daily living expenses such as rent, utilities, phone and food. We are also trying to repair his vehicle that currently will not start. When he does get to come home, we want to make sure everything is taken care of and he can have a fresh start.
He is always there for everyone else and I know everyone will be there for him now in his time of need.
I would love for everyone to leave a comment on this for him to read. He never believes he is good enough or worthy and I know that couldn’t be further from the truth. Let’s show him how loved and supported he truly is.
For those that don’t know: his nickname “Wild Bill” came from our hometown where he played hockey as a Two Harbors Agate.
