Hi, my name is Tamekia Cruickshank and I am a teacher in the Savannah Chatham County School District. I am a mother of 2 small children ages 7 & 5 yrs old. On August 31, 2021, I lost my best friend/my husband and our children lost the greatest father to COVID-19. In the midst of our loss and grief, we've been faced with the challenge to pay for the unforseen expenses. Despite my efforts to obtain life insurance; I was informed on the day of his passing, that the policy had not been completed as we thought. At this time, we are in need of help with funeral and medical expenses incurred during this life changing time. This Pandemic has claimed the life of many and left many families in a sense of uncertainty; both financially and emotionally. As we take this time to pick up the pieces for my children and I; we ask for your assistance financially if you can. We do understand that these times may be difficult for most and appreciate any and everything you can donate from your heart. No matter how big or small, we are grateful and express our gratitude.
