He needs immediate lung transplant  because his doctor told him that his oxygen level of 49% combined with low lung function (like 40%) suggests end-stage lung disease.

Prior to this illness Wasihun Beyene used to be a hard working person. He used to enjoy life with his family in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. However, due to the complications of Covid, his lung was severely damaged and became dependent on the breathing (oxygen) machine.

Currently, breathing with the machine is becoming harder and harder.

That is why Yekatit 12 hospital board of internal medicine strongly recommends multidisciplinary medical team for evaluation for further management including lung transplantation. Continuing with multidisciplinary medical team for further evaluation in foreign hospital is very expensive. The medical bill was estimated

$90,000 ( US Dollars).
