Help for victims in Kharkiv

My name is Konstantin, and I moved to the US in 2019.

I graduated Kharkiv Aviation Institute and have a lot of friends in Kharkiv.

My friend Ruslan recently visited me, and now he is back in Ukraine trying to help people suffering from the war. He cannot create a fundraising company on GoFundMe, because of poor access at this time.

I am doing this on his behalf to help people get direct help. Please see the message from him below:

 

"My name is Alikperov Ruslan. During peacetime, my 16-year business has been known as a climate company. However, on February 24th, Russian aggression forced me to do what now inspires me more than ever – helping people. My colleagues and friends joined me, who out of despite of fear and danger of being shot at, bring food, medicine, and take people out of dangerous places.

I specially wear an orange jacket and yellow hat so I am not mistaken for a soldier and not killed.

5 days ago, a volunteer organization appeared to help people and the defenders of Kharkov. The organization has over 1,500 participants. Also, our team buys large amounts of food, fuel and medicine every day. At first, we financed the purchases with our own money. Unfortunately, we don’t have any more funds. We are asking for donations so we are able to keep helping people in the Kharkov region that need it the most.
