Help for Valor

It's been a rough few days in the Mounted Patrol. Last week, on October 19th, we arrived at the barn and noticed Valor's eye was discolored. After a visit from our vet we were quickly on the road to the Myhre Equine Clinic in Rochester NH. Once we arrived it was determined that Valor had suffered a corneal rupture and unfortunately would lose his eye. DR. Myhre and staff did an amazing job of removing Valor's eye and caring for him afterwards. Valor is currently recovering at the clinic but will be home very soon. Unfortunately the surgery and board was expensive, which has severely depleted our budget. As a non-profit, we must raise our own money for everything horse related. Vet bills, hay, shoes and equipment are all our responsibility. We rarely ask for any help, but even a few dollars would help defray some of the cost of Valor's surgery. We are told he will be able to return to work, patrolling the streets of Manchester which is what he loves. Hopefully you can help, every little amount makes a difference!!!
