HELP MAKSIM WALK AGAIN



With a heavy heart, I am asking all of you to help my dear friend Maksim.

He was born in Moldova, in a small town where everyone knows each other and everyone stands for each other. Maksin was always an example for many. He always has been very kind and sympathetic, a good friend and an excellent husband to his wife. 

Maksim met his wife, Maria, when he was only 19 years old. It has been happy 8 years for them. They made big plans together, they dreamed about a big family and many children. Looking at them was always a pleasure. Relationship of Maksim and Maria has been an encouragement for all around them.

But, something unexpected happened. On June 16 Maksim wanted to jump onto the pool. Something that was expected to be fun on a hot summer day turned into the grief and sorrow for Maksim and his family and friends. He hit his head on the bottom of the pool which led to a serious spinal injury of the cervical spine. He was paralyzed immediately. Miraculously he was able to get to the surface of the water where his friends helped him to get out of the water. 

An ambulance arrived and Maksim was taken to Chisinau Institute of Neurosurgery.

Immediately he received a series of surgeries in his spine. Doctors said that there are chances for recovery, but it is a long and expensive process, and not in Moldova. 



Hospital, that is willing to help Maksim is in Moscow. Maskim’s family is running out of money and they do not have needed finances to transfer Maksim to Moscow for his rehabilitation.

$2500 is needed to transport Maksim and his wife to Moscow.

$50 000 is needed for his treatment. It can take a year or more for his full recovery.


We are asking you all to help Maksim. All together we can help Maksim walk again. Together we can help Maksim and his wives dreams turn true. 

It is still a pleasure to look at them. Since the accident happened she never left his side, she never stopped believing in him, she never stopped encouraging him.
