Help for Ukrainian Climbers and Climbing Coaches

Stone Summit Climbing Team Booster Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been connected to Ukraine for many years. We played a significant role in bringing our beloved speed coach, Olexiy Shulga, and his family to the US from Ukraine in 2016 and, as a team, supported them financially and emotionally. Now, more Ukrainian climbers and climbing coaches need our help. We recently welcomed Tanya Kolkotina to our coaching staff and have been funding her competition expenses. We hope to help her husband move to the US in the near future. We are also actively working to help our Pre Nationals Training Camp coach, Yaroslav Gontaryk, move to the US. Yaroslav's family is currently in the UK, but Yaroslav remains in Ukraine.

 

To support these efforts, Stone Summit Climbing Team Booster Club is raising funds to support Ukrainian climbers and climbing coaches. The funds will be used to pay for the travel, living and climbing expenses of Ukrainian climbers and climbing coaches identified by our head coach, Claudiu Vidulescu. Together, we can provide financial support to help our Ukrainian friends reunite with their families in the safety of the US.
