Help after adverse reaction to gadolinium

I am embarrassed by the woman I see now, barely able to take a couple of steps with assistance, excruciating pain, neurological decline, loss of fine / gross motor skills, wheelchair assistance, full time care, unable to drive, and so many more issues declining since injection.
I was a healthy woman who just turned 42, when I went in for an MRI. I had a slip early in the year on ice and wanted to address the pain in my neck and hip before I started teaching at the Community School in August. All of my tests that have been ran have found that they could not find any evidence of autoimmunes that I was thought to have for over 25 years.
This should of been a simple routine test but the doctor had ordered contrast as well. MRI contrast uses a rare heavy metal called gadolinium. I have had MRIs with contrast almost 20 years ago and did not have any issues. I like many others signed a consent saying I have had over 10 MRIs and half with gadolinium 20 years ago. Sadly, I was not aware of something called Gadolinium disposition disease. Gadolinium contrast used in MRI’s is supposed to immediately leave the body due to a protective coating to chelate it in urine. What is not disclosed is that our bodies do not react the same and we absorb things differently due to genetics. I have MTHFR compound heterozygous among some other mutations, as we know our genetics are not one size fits all.
Within two minutes of being injected I started sneezing in the machine. As I was removed I complained that my arm hurt but my face felt like I had dental surgery or something. I could barely talk, my face, tongue and throat were swollen. Turns out I had an immediate severe reaction and had to be admitted to the emergency. Being admitted I was told I should buy a lottery ticket. I was given a bunch of prednisone and sent home. Still to date, Gunnison Valley Hospital has yet to provide proper proof of which of the two different products listed caused the immediate allergic reaction. I do not know why or which of the two caused the damage. The hospital on recordings they do not know which product, lot number or expiration. They have told me to stop reporting to the FDA. I have not stopped reporting. The hospital has continued to lie, make false claims, provide no proof, no callbacks, gaslighting and bullying have continued on their part that we can prove.
Since then I have been in and out of the emergency room a couple of times and in the doctors every week. I found out the hospital tried to cover up stating I had no reaction and each doctor tried saying that this could not have been from the gadolinium. I finally found a doctor who would do a heavy metal gadolinium test almost three months after my injection. It was sent to the Mayo Clinic and confirmed that I still had very high toxicity of gadolinium.The damage is already doing it’s damage though.
I still have tests still to reflect that this heavy metal is wreaking havoc on my body. It is not easy to describe my symptoms but here it goes:
I am in pain all the time. I have pain on my left arm from fingertips to base of head that never goes away. The best way to describe how my body feels is my bones feel like hollow glass tubes; wrapped with painful, fiery, tender muscles; and, nerves that are like pins and needles. I suffer from muscle atrophy, full body neuralgia, and losing the ability to stand or walk. I have lost the ability to use my hands fully; neuropathy in my hands and feet; jaw pain; and struggles speaking. I have body temperature issues, skin issues, tremors and shaking, a rash on my spine, tinnitus, circulation problems, metallic taste and loss of hair.
I also suffer from insomnia, organ inflammation, bradycardia, tachycardia, blood pressure issues, chest angina, brain fog and degrading neurological function are just some of the issues along with organ function change.
My doctors are unable to help as they are not qualified to assist with this type of neurological toxicity and the quick decline in my health. I have been referred to the best in the country and sadly they all have refused to work with my out of state insurance. Mayo Clinic, and the University of New Mexico Hospital all confirmed they will not work with my insurance and it will be out of pocket for all care. Somehow insurance has tried to offer to help cover the cost of doctors, hospitals and bloodwork but no one will work with them on a contract. My insurance is willing to do whatever they can to try to cover some of the costs, however: - Certain meds, infrared sauna treatments, chelation and vitamins are not covered even if my care was covered. It will be on average $500-1000 monthly for the remainder of my life to receive care for gadolinium toxicity.
I am praying to raise enough funds to get help soon. The longer this is in my body the harder it will be to reverse or stop some the negative effects. I will require care for the rest of my life but I pray I can save my organs, bones, muscles and brain from further damage. My heart is racing 24 hours a day, days without sleep and pain that has been unmanageable.
Life has changed for me this year drastically, I now am losing cognitive abilities, fine motor and gross motor skills. Simple daily tasks like tying my shoes, opening door handles, holding things, or even cooking. These are just some of the things you can lose by taking this risk. Imagine not being able to even open an door in emergency, I struggle and sometimes can’t. I have lost all ability to have a normal life with any type of quality.
We just pray I have a chance to fight this on the long front. The survivors of this have spent not just thousands but hundreds of thousands, even the Norris family has spent millions to save his wife.
Again anything helps and sharing can help save me and other by educating them to not risk their lives. Please share the links and share the page please. I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t my life on the line. I just pray for a change and awareness so others do not face this danger. This is happening to all ages and does not discriminate, it harms all of us even in small doses. A specialist shared that I appear to have had a high does on this injection that leaked into my body immediately causing me to swell up, still not sure why the reaction occurred as the hospital stopped treating me and will not provide the full information as to which product and why they shows me an empty bottle yet I show on records only 14.5 injected.
Thanks to a donation we did reach to the leading specialist, however he did not even read my records before he tried to seek me on over 40 chelation treatments, and when I shared again for the third time I was seeking consultation about the toxicity as I am unable to afford chelation treatments. He continues to be unprofessional and did not provide what he stated on his consultation website.
We are going to pursue this healing in a natural and healthy healing way instead. So much research shows that while western medicine can poison us, it lacks healing us. We are going to follow Dan Roots detoxification through infrared therapy, niacin, and bvtiamins along with a healthy nutritional diet to bind and detox this heavy metal out. This will take years of healing and I will be fighting this fight for the future. I am told, there is no guarantee on how long my body can keep up the fight. I just pray, my body is strong enough to endure the pain, organ issues and neurological decline.
I have reached out to over 100 attorneys and been denied due to the fact that it is too expensive to pursue any lawsuits or the hospital for lack of help and negligence in sending me home multiple times and even telling me not to come back unless I am not breathing. I was even handed the bottle of one of the two products they state they injected and told to buy a lottery ticket. In Colorado it is extremely hard to pursue a malpractice lawsuit as it supports the medical field and not the patients. I have been denied help from multiple doctors for help and they keep passing me along to someone else. My parents are not around to ask for help. This has left my fiancé and 12y service dog Rolo taking care of me.
My fiancé and I were supposed to exchange vows in Aug of this year, sadly this has had to be postponed as I was back in the hospital.
I have found there are so many like me who are suffering and dying from this heavy metal that was not fully disclosed that it is retained in your eyes, brain, muscles, and bones. It will never leave unless it is removed using research treatment like HOPO or chelation. Even then it is still never thought to be completely removed.
I never wish this on anyone as this has destroyed my life. I am not expected to have much of a recovery at this point unless I can get help. Even the life I will have will be full of hospitals and doctors; it will be a life worth fighting for so I am ready.
