Medical expense help for Tracey Gallagher
My dearest friend Tracey was laid off from a job she loved, 2 years ago. Tracey continually interviewed for new opportunities in Jacksonville, even while her husband spent 37 days in the hospital for an obstruction in his intestine. All the while keeping a positive attitude.
Late in 2018, Tracey and Pat decided that opportunities didn’t exist in Jacksonville and put their house up for sale and moved to Colorado on April 1, 2019. The day they arrived, Pat was admitted to the hospital for obstructions in his intestine, again (probably not done correctly the first time). This led to Pat spending 41 days in the hospital recuperating while Tracey, with her amazing attitude found them a place to live, moved them into an apartment and started interviews for new opportunities.
In June, Tracey started a part time contract position with her friend Pam while she continued to interview in Colorado.
Fast forward to September and her annual Mammogram.
October 4th, Tracey was diagnosed with breast cancer stages 1 and 2, triple positive for Estrogen, Progesterone and the HER2 protein. Plus, she has 3 types of cancer.
Tracey had her lumpectomy, but faces a very long road of 12 weeks of chemo, followed by 4-6 weeks of radiation, 1 year with a port for Herceptin and 5 years of hormone blocking therapy. This has put her job search on hold AGAIN!
I set up this Go Fund Me account because the girl needs a break, she is already over $6000.00 out of pocket and her deductible begins again in January. Any help will give her some relief on her medical bills or rent or paying for insurance.
