Help For Tom Critchlow
Tom Critchlow suffered a stroke on Friday, September 4. He spent several days in the Neuro Critical Unit before going into cardiac arrest and being placed on a ventilator. Luckily, the ventilator was removed a day later, and some of his speech and long term memory improved. But, as strokes go, he has a long road ahead of him to recover physically and mentally. -Anna O'Dell
Starting school in the middle of a pandemic is hard. Starting school without Tom Critchlow is even harder...we miss that guy! With the permission of Tom's family we are setting up this gofundme. Tom, "Happy", would do anything for any of us teachers in Olivet and we want to do the same for him. In normal Tom fashion, he is worried about the school, the kids, and the staff of Olivet and has been speaking of his job often since this happened. He takes such pride in this district; everyone has a "Happy" story, and we miss him giving us a hard time, making us laugh, and just being Tom!
Thank you for any donation you can give to support him and his wife and offset any costs that they will encounter. We hope and pray for the best recovery and to get him back in our buildings doing what he loves.
