Help for Tina Freitas
Donation protected
As some of you may know, Tina is in the midst of a crisis, and with Robin's support, they are keeping positive and using every resource they can to overcome this. If you're not aware, Tina was diagnosed with lung cancer, which has spread.
I'm reaching out to the skydiving community, to help if they can, with a donation, so Tina can utilize whatever alternative therapies, to supplement her chemo-therapy.
If you're an old Ranch hand, you surely know Tina as a fixture at the ranch, as a freeflyer, and as a reliable and highly in demand packer, since the mid 90's.
If you're a newer flyer at the Ranch, and haven't met Tina, she was always contributing to the community and new jumpers. I have watched her gently advise, and guide beginners, as they progressed in their skills. Teaching people how to pack, and giving canopy control tips. Robin, her husband, has also been a fixture at the Ranch as a Sportsman, and Tandem Instructor. Even if you don't know them, you probably have seen them around.
They have devoted a large chunk of their lives at the Ranch and towards skydiving, and only enhanced the good vibes there. I hope people might be able to throw in, even just a couple bucks to help Tina and Robin out, through this very difficult challenge.
I would really like this to be a nice surprise for Tina, so I'm trying to do this discreetly, for the first month, at least. She had previously given approval for someone else to do this, but it never panned out. That being said, this is with the consent of Robin.
Even if you're not able to contribute, Please pass this on (discreetly)
to whomever might be able to help.
Thanks everyone!
