Timmy Kilgore tragically passed away on Tuesday (2/4/25) following the loss of his brother Terry just days earlier, on Sunday. Terry had suffered a ruptured aorta and two strokes, which left him bedridden in a nursing home for 18 months. He was completely dependent on Timmy, who stepped up as his primary caregiver. Unfortunately, Terry had no insurance, and Timmy took on his debts in hopes of easing his mind, so he could focus on his recovery.
Timmy’s was in an accident on January 16th on his way to his weekly visit to Terry. The accident crushed Timmy’s spine and caused multiple injuries. Throughout it all, he stayed positive and never stopped talking, even in the most difficult moments.
This year has been devastating for our family. We’ve been fighting to recover from multiple major home issues, draining our savings and preventing us from rebuilding. We had hoped 2025 would bring new hope, but now, everything has been turned upside down.
We were not prepared for any of this, and now Jade and I find ourselves overwhelmed. People have been asking how they can help, and with a heavy heart, I admit that right now, what we need most is financial support. We’ve never been through anything like this before, and while I am struggling to make sense of it all, we’re asking for your help as we try to get back on our feet.
In a few months, we plan to downsize, but for now, I must focus on clearing my head and trying to keep up with everything. I promise that any funds we receive will be used wisely and, when we’re able, we will pay it forward to others in need.
Lastly, I’d like to ask that if you can, please share this with your friends and family. Thank you all in advance for the love, calls, and visits. Your support means the world to us.
Hug your loved ones, because in an instant, your whole world can change.
With gratitude,
Kathy and Jade
