Help for Tim and Brandt

Hi Everyone,

I am writing to ask for help for my dear friends Tim Pierce and Brandt Edwards. If you know Tim you are almost certainly aware that his husband, Brandt Edwards (aka the Sweetest Man in the World) has been hospitalized since mid-November. It has been a traumatic journey for them both but due to a team of great doctors and Tim’s constant advocacy and care Brandt is making significant progress. Tim and Brandt are aware of all of the love and support many have provided. At the same time I am sure many of us are wondering what we can do to help.

Tim has been by Brandt's side every day and has not been able to work at all during the time of year that is his busiest and most profitable. This is not likely to change in the foreseeable future as Brandt will continue to need Tim's support at home for an extended period of time. In addition to the drop in income they will be facing medical bills and other expenses. These financial challenges are a huge source of stress and worry at a time when they need to be focused on Brandt’s recovery.

Tim has such a big heart and has stepped up to help others in times of need so many times including organizing efforts to help me after we lost our home in Hurricane Katrina. If you can help in any way I know it would be appreciated. Let’s help lighten their load.
