Help for Tigger and Lily

On Monday 9/23, Lily’s horse, Tigger, was transported to Steinbeck Equine Hospital with a severe case of cellulitis and colic symptoms. He is expected to recover, but needs to be hospitalized in order to receive the IV antibiotics and fluids necessary for his recovery.

Many of us know Lily as the “meds person” at the Lesson Office, and as an important part of the Webb Ranch community. She works tirelessly (at least) 6 days a week, and never hesitates when asked to lend a hand, whether that means checking on a sick or lame horse, throwing a flake of hay at lunch time, or re-doing a bandage.

In the 25+ years I’ve been riding at Webb Ranch, I’ve seen the community come together to help many horses and people in times of crisis.

As most of us know, these situations are horribly stressful for so many reasons, and relieving some of the financial burden can help relieve some of that stress.
