My name is John Sorial, founder of TaDah! Foods and earlier this year I learned about a class of people in Egypt called the "Penniless". These are the people, many of whom are widows and children, who live below the poverty line. After seeing the despair in their eyes and hearing about families living near sewage I joined with 70+ DC area professionals and college students to take action.

We are working with a tremendous organization called Shepherd of Egypt and this June we are travelling to Luxor and Aswan to serve alongside these tireless volunteers.

Shepherd of Egypt has worked for years to provide the Penniless the basic needs of human life such as shelter, clean running water, and substanance. Their goal is a return to dignity for those most affected by poverty and homelessness.

The money we raise will be used for:

Shepherd of Egypt is small but their impact on the community is huge. Their dedicated team of medical professionals, engineers, and case workers are driven by love for those they serve.

Our mission is to help as many families as our time and money will allow. Please help us make difference in the lives of those forgotten and left to suffer.
