Hi my name is Magdalena. I am a single mom of 2 boys . My older son Braxton is 7 years old with severe autism and global developmental delay. He was diagnosed when he was 3,5 years old. He is nonverbal and his life is really hard since the very beginning of his young life… he has very limited ability to live because of the severity of his autism. He cannot communicate, dress himself or even eat himself… He is still using diapers since he has no control over his bladder or bowel movements. He is developmentally like a little baby in a body of 7 year old boy. He struggles on a daily basis. He cannot communicate in any way at all. He cannot make friends or anything in his life he has to depend on me. He gets frustrated a lot and self injuring himself when his needs are not met or if he is just overwhelmed or overstimulated…. It hurts me the most when I can’t help him when he really needs it because I always have to guess what he needs and I’m not always guessing right or when something is happening to him and why…
The worst part is that he cannot tell me or show me when he is in pain or in discomfort… The time is flying by and there is not much help or resources for my son here in Canada , Ontario and his time to get better and have better quality of life in future is running out… I have found a therapy that could help my son that is done over in different country like Panama! Stem cell therapy for kids like my son and it can help in many different ways and also there is a hope that he could speak one day! But that kind of therapy cost over $33.000 and I cannot afford anything close to that! Also there are other costs for pretreatment like for 2 months he needs to take some supplements before his treatment that are also costly… Basically I am asking for help for my son to get a chance in life to have a better quality of life if we get that kind of money then it’s possible! So I’m asking kindly anyone that would like to donate anything will help. Every dollar will add up and maybe we can get that treatment in Panama! Thank you and God bless
