For those who don't know me, my name is Shannon Bibby. I'm fortunate to have a friend like Brianna Williams, who I know would do anything for me and my family. I wanted to help her out in any way possible with the unfortunate events she's been forced to endure over the last several months.

Back in November, this family was faced with a medical diagnosis that would change them indefinitely. Brianna's husband had just started a new job when he started experiencing unusual pain in his back, disabling him from working. After many doctor and hospital visits, it was finally determined that Brianna's husband had a spinal infection and his spine was deteriorating. Since then, he has been in and out of the hospital for tests and IV treatments to mitigate the damage and treat the infection. With Brianna's husband not being able to work, homebound with medical care, Brianna has been the sole provider for their family. As mothers, we know how exhausting the day-to-day grind is. Now add the worry and stress of a serious medical diagnosis of your spouse and mountains of medical bills when you can barely keep up with groceries and electric bills. With all her husband's medical bills and continuing treatments, the family has been drowning in debt.

With 2 young boys, who are heavily involved in extracurricular activities within their community, and the unknown stresses of her spouse's medical condition, when and if he'll ever be able to go back to work, we are hoping to help the Williams family because I know they would help, and have helped, when others were in a similar situation.
