On the night of December 18, 2016, my sister Cassi’s home burned in an electrical fire. We are so thankful that she, her husband nor her two sons were home at the time, but all of their material things were lost except for the clothes on their backs.

She has a 17 year old son, Nathan, and a 6 year old son, Ari, along with herself and her husband Ryan that were living in the home. They just recently moved into this home and were looking forward to a wonderful Christmas!. This has been absolutely devastating. Not only have they lost the presents for her kids for under the tree, but they have lost even the basic necessities to live and keep warm in these absolutely frigid temperatures.
We are pulling together as a family to do everything we can, but times are hard all over especially at this time of year. It is difficult to reach out to strangers for help, but we cannot do this alone. Anything at all you could give would be an immeasurable help in saving this family’s Christmas and, more importantly, lives.
