The GoFundMe has been very successful for only being up less than 2 weeks! However, we're going to stop donations as of tomorrow, 11/19/25. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has donated and will be forwarding the proceeds to Sherri as soon as possible. We were so fortunate to have known and loved Ray and miss him so very much.

Hello fellow Nashville musicians/friends of Ray and Sherri Von Rotz. We (Mike and Patty Wyatt) have started a Go Fund Me page to help Sherri defray some of the totally unexpected costs incurred while in Mexico with our group. On Saturday, 11/1/25, the hospital in Playa del Carmen charged Sherri a $6000 "deposit" while they were still administering care for Ray. The ambulance company then requested $950 on the spot. She had no other option than to put these charges on a credit card. After being told that Ray had passed away, she had to sign lots of legal/medical papers before we could leave and return to the resort. On Monday, 11/3/25, the funeral home brought Ray's cremains to the resort. It was a very solemn occasion...until they took Sherri aside and charged her $9000.00 for their services. Please contribute what you can to help Sherri with this financial burden.
