On Wednesday, February 10th, my aunt, Jo Ann Vila, and her family lost their house due to a fire and lost everything. The fire also burned 70% of their neighbor's house and at least on person was transported to the hospital, there condition is unknown at this time. 3 of our family members were a bit injured but nothing life-threatening. My aunt and her oldest son, Humberto, were the ones who were hurt the worst by the fire. "Beto" was transferred to a military hospital in San Antonio and is still currently there being treated for his injuries. As for Jo Ann, she is still being treated in a hospital in Harlingen.
