Help for the uninsured in Nepal who cannot rebuild alone
0% complete
$7,108 raised of
85 donations
With the recent protests and violence in Nepal, many homes, businesses, and temples were reduced to ash. Lives have been ruined.
I'm Brian, the host of FutureAzA (on YouTube and X.) My editor of three years lives in Kathmandu. He accompanied me to the Shanghai Auto Show, and just last week I returned from a trip to his home town. He will help find meaningful uses for these donations.
Funds raised will be shared with the people I know and have met in Kathmandu. Insurance doesn't work the way you might hope in the US, and in many cases doesn't exist at all, so any amount will go a long way toward helping them rebuild.
We will update everyone monthly on FutureAzA until such time as all funds are dispersed and utilized. You will get to see the fruits of your donations.
My connection to this is that Rosh is not just my employee, but my friend. He's there on the ground and will be taking care of everything.
He is registering a volunteers' group as soon as the offices reopen for him to do so. He has a group of people working for the social stability including police station, ward offices and other important issues.
The funds will be spent watching out the situation of when it will be released. Currently, the main focus is to re-establish police officers into the police station. The station is ruined and under reconstruction. There are other local members working on it too. But the more help, the more easier it gets. The priority is given to the local community and if it goes into scale, heading to other regions as well.
The funds will be spent to restore social stability. Police station (their rations for certain days until they will be overlooked by government again), ward offices, street dogs, cleaning campaigns, awareness campaigns.
