Ryan, Mandy, and Seth are the kindest and sweetest family I know. They work so hard and help so many others! Now it's our turn to help them.  Ryan works as a mechanic in a small 3 person shop and Mandy stays home with Seth homeschooling him and doing all the things.

Monday night Ryan had an incident on the bmx bike. He wasn’t going hard, but He landed hard and weird on his knee, and broke the bottom part of his femur, near where it attaches to the knee. They were able to put him under and straighten it, and it’s now immobilized, but he will absolutely be needing surgery to repair it all. It’s more complicated due to him having a titanium rod in that femur, so they have to go in and do some crazy work.

Surgery Update:
Ryan is done, doc said everything went well, due to the complexity of the breaks, he has two plates and a bunch of screws holding his femur together, along with the rod that he already had in there.

He gets to rest tonight, and then tomorrow starts working on knee mobility (THANK GOD HIS KNEE WAS INTACT AND EVERYTHING WAS GOOD THERE!!!) but has to stay off of it for a while.

No weight bearing for 12 weeks which means no work for 12 weeks. If you can help, this would be incredible for this family of 3!
