Help for the Traugott family
My name is John Keller. I am fundraising for a good friend and fellow veteran Aubrey Traugott. On Friday the 3rd of September Aubrey's wife and two kids were involved in a violent car accident resulting in severe injuries to his son Gavin (8), and daughter Hailey (13). Both of his children were airlifted to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Gavin suffered a fractured skull and broken arm and is doing ok and will be released soon. Due to the extent of her injuries Hailey was airlifted to UCLA with a severe head injury resulting in bleeding in her brain, severe damage to her jaw and artery in her neck causing a stroke, and many other broken bones. Hailey has been in a medically induced coma and has not shown improvement. The doctors have given some options moving forward both of which are very difficult choices for their parents. The first option is brain surgery to repair and mitigate further damage to her brain, the second is leaving her in a medically induced coma for up to two months to allow the brain to try and heal on its own. All of our thoughts and prayers go out to the Traugott family but I would like to offer some help with the financial burden during this time and for the long road to recovery ahead. I ask that anybody reading this send your prayers and if possible donate to the cause.
