The amount has been raised to help the family cover the through the next unforseeable months of bills as Jessica is the sole employed and is having to take unpaid FMLA.
As most of you know Jessica and Shane's little 8 year old boy Issac was hit by a car on 10/16/2020 while crossing the road from playing at a friend's house. He was lifeflighted to Cincinnati Children's Hospital with a brain bleed and a skull fracture. He was sedated in the field and on a ventilator for 10 days. He has a very long road of recovery ahead of him and is looking at his second brain surgery in mid January. Jessica and Shane should not have to worry about finances right now. They need to be able to stay with their baby boy through his recovery and not have to worry about going to work. This is an amazing family!! Jessica works with our mental health and homeless community. Before Covid Shane also worked as a peer helping people suffering from mental illness and addiction. These are 2 SELFLESS individuals. I could tell you story after story of how they have touched their clients and co-workers lives. This money will go straight into their bank account. You can also donate via Venmo at @starkephotographynky. I have the fundraiser set in Jessica's name so it will be easier for them. I am a family friend trying to help.
