Help for the Strycharz Family

Glenn and his wife Rhonda and their daughter Victoria have been New Hartford residents since 1997 . Glenn a volunteer fireman in the New Hartford fire Dept for 11 years, has again been diagnosed with cancer. In 2013 at age 49 Glenn was given the bad news of colon cancer. He under went chemo and radiation for several months before having surgery. Despite his diagnosis Glenn was always willing to lend a hand with fundraisers and community functions. Glenn is just that kind of guy even when his own problems were occurring. After battling this for 2 and a half years,Glenn was told he was cancer free. During this time even during his chemo Glenn continued to go to work to support his family and as we all know pay off the large amount of debt incurred by this terrible disease.On September 2017 Glenn was given the horrible news that the cancer had returned but this time in his liver . Glenn had surgery that same month and had a portion of his liver removed. He seemed to be on the mend by dec 2017 . In March of 2018 Glenn went in for a scan and this time was told he had stage #4 terminal metastatic colon cancer, his liver was also effected by tumors. Glenn’s family was devastated and were told it was inoperable. Glenn and his family refused to give up and reached out to the great doctors at Sloane Kettering in NY for help. Chemo was started and as of feb 2019 Glenn has had treatments every other week for 11 weeks and thankfully the tumors continue to shrink. During this whole ordeal Glenn continues to work 10 hrs a day after going to his treatments ,many people including his Drs are amazed how he has the drive to do this and keep a positive attitude. Glenn has to support his family as the bills we can imagine are piled up. At this time the family is overwhelmed with bills and needs our help , so please give what you can .
