Help for the Seawood Family as Nathan recovers

Donation protected
On Saturday, June 8th, our nephew Nathan was involved in a freak severe boating accident in Traverse City, Michigan. Nathan was on the bow when they hit a wave, was thrown from the boat and went under, unfortunately hitting the propeller. Fast action from his friends and first responders truly saved his life. He has multiple shattered bones in his left leg both above and below his knee which are currently being held together with external fixators. After multiple lengthy surgeries over the past few days, they were able to successfully re establish blood flow to his leg since the prop severed his artery. As of now he is in stable condition and in the best spirits he can be given the situation. Nathan is a very strong young man and will have a long road to recovery coming so well wishes and ongoing prayers are much appreciated.

Because he will be hospitalized for an unknown and lengthy period involving surgeries and ongoing care far from his family and friends, we want to help in any way we can to provide assistance to the family for lodging, medical expenses, and any financial support possible so that Candace, Steve, and Andrew can be with Nathan in Traverse City. This will hopefully provide some relief from the added stress during a difficult time, allowing them to focus on the recovery.

The family is already so grateful for your ongoing support and prayers and will continue to update on his status.
