Rob Schulz is a loving father of 6, God-fearing man, husband, son, brother, one of the best people I have ever met. Rob was always one of the first people to help any out if they needed it. Over the last couple of years, Rob has been hit with a disease called CIDP. The disease causes its immune system to attack the nerves in his body. Because of this, he is left with the loss of use of his limbs, to the point that as I sit here and type this, he cannot move his left arm below the shoulder, very limited in his right arm, and has little to no use of his hands and legs. He can't walk or hardly feed himself at this point. He is currently in the hospital and has been at KU for almost a month now.  They have applied for Disability and He was denied which is ridiculous.  They now have hired a lawyer to fight that battle but have been told it will take 8 months to a year for approval.  Rob has been disabled and progressively became worse and unable to work since Oct 2020.  Because they have been dealing with this for months, really years, they are struggling to make ends meet on a now one-person income. They are in a financial hurt that many of us can’t possibly think of. They need our help to get through this as the hospital bills are piling up quickly and may soon approach the 7-figure mark. Please if you cannot help financially add them to your daily prayers, they need them. They are needing to get an electric wheelchair and stairlift,  among other handicapped tools for him to be able to come home. All of which are not covered by insurance and are expensive
