Help for the Schimmer Family
Donation protected
On October 6, 2016 Eric and Ashley Schimmer welcomed their son Lincoln Phillip into their family.
They were so excited to become a family of four with their rainbow baby, he joined a very excited big sister Addison (9y/o).

On October 8th, 2016 they were able to come home. But after being home only 3 hours something was wrong with Lincoln, he was not acting right and they rushed back to the hospital. He was lethargic and stopped breathing so he was immiedately put on a venitlator to breath for him. They were transfered to Winnie Palmer NICU for further care. He was tested and found to have bacterial meningitis. He was given countless antibiotics, was loved on and cared for by the greath staff at Winnie Palmer, but on October 10th (25 hours after admission) he lost his battle here on earth. While resting in his parents arms he gained his angel wings and flew home to be with the Lord.

Eric and Ashley are humbled by all the love and support they have received. They are so thankful for all the prayers and love all their friends and family have given. They have never been ones to ask for help and they pride themselves in working hard to provide for themselves. They have unexpected medical expenses coming in from Lincoln's second hospitalization, unexpected days off from work, and other expenses associated with this life changing and devastating tragedy.
With so many of their friends and family wanting to help but living far away from them we wanted to create this page to give them some financial support. And since we can not be physically with them we thought this was one way we could help . Any donations that are left over from helping pay for Lincoln's medical expenses will be used to help with thier daily living expenses.
If you feel inclined to give a financial donation it is much appreciated. We appreciate anything and everything you do for them and as always we are asking you to keep Ashley, Eric and Addison in your prayers.
