Help For The Scheeler Family
Sweet little Rylee and The Scheeler Family needs our help. Rylee is 6 months old and a couple of weeks ago began having a hard time breathing and coughing a lot. Upon evaluation at the hospital here in Sheridan, it was determined to see what was causing this by flying her to Children's Hospital in Denver. Through testing, the Scheeler Family found out that Rylee has Pompe Disease. Pompe disease is a rare (estimated at 1 in every 40,000 births) and affects and enlarges the heart muscles. Rylee will have to undergo weekly enzyme replacement treatments and will also be seen by a team of specialists: cardiologist, neurologist, and respiratory therapists. This will be putting a lot of stress on the family with expensive treatments, time off work, and a long hospital stay in Denver.
At this time, the Scheeler family needs time to be together as a family with Rylee and with their older son Grady. If you are able, please consider donating to this family. They could use all the love and prayers for their sweet girl Rylee!
