Help for the Salas family after a devastating house fire

For those who don’t know, around midnight on Father’s Day of this year, the home of Roy, Meredith, Maya, and Santi Salas was destroyed in a house fire. For the most part, this family lost everything and were only able to recover a few items from the tragedy. The Salas family has been so appreciative of all the immediate help and care they have received thus far, but have a long way to go in terms of rebuilding their lives and home after such a great loss.
Will you please consider donating to this sweet family in hopes that we can help alleviate some of the stressors and burdens that are sure to come up in the following days, weeks, and months? I know they will be so grateful for any amount, no matter how big or small. And they would especially be grateful for ongoing prayers as well.
Here are some specific prayer requests they have at this time:
- Wisdom in deciding long term housing options
- That they could find short term (9-12 months) housing fairly quickly, and figure out how to juggle childcare and return to work as they transition through moving a few times in the coming weeks.
- Prayers for Maya as she struggles with losing her cat in the fire
- Prayers for Santi as he has lost everything in the only home he has ever known
