Medical help for the Rockholt Family

The need for this GoFundMe page is going to come as a surprise to many of you closest to the Rockholt family.  We ask that you prayerfully consider contributing to the medical costs, and overall expenses that are to come, with Shannon’s recent diagnosis of a brain tumor.  This tumor is a mass over her pituitary gland and has caused her hormone levels to be drastically off and as well it is interfering with some peripheral vision.

The most urgent financial need is to help meet the remaining medical deductible due for the year as the neuro surgeon cannot even schedule the surgery to remove the tumor until that is paid.  This amount is $1,950.  In addition to this surgery, there are 3 addition doctors’ appointments that are in the referral process before she can have the surgery.  These each will require out of town trips along with missed work.  After Shannon is able to have the surgery, she will stay in ICU for a minimum of 2 days and the expected time off after surgery is two weeks.

For those of you who truly know Shannon you know she has ALWAYS been a giver in every way.  It is just her nature.  My hope and prayer is that our family, friends and even strangers may feel led to be the givers to her during this time.
