My name is Danielle and our cousin, Nikki, was in a serious accident at just 20 years of age. She was visiting her family home (attended college in Hawaii) when this devastating accident occurred. While enjoying a ride on an ATV, it flipped and caught on fire. She acquired 2nd-3rd degree burns to 25% of her body. She was transferred to the burn unit via helicopter. Her parents, sister and brother will have to travel 2 hours one way to visit her as they cannot remain at hospital with her.
