Dear friends of POKI POKI! You probably still remember the great people of POKI POKI. You might have Nain's laugh still in your ears when he greeted you at the jetty, every now and then you might be dreaming of Mila's delicious aubergine curry which she made for dinner. The delicious pancakes for breakfast - served by Tante Rita & Pusma. The unforgettable snorkeling tour with Anto, the jungle trekking to Bomba with Uja, the evening at the campfire with Andang, Aki & Manan. Our employees: all come from the small fishing village of Bomba - 10 minutes by boat from POKI POKI. The income opportunities in the village are very limited. COVID-19 is pushing us to our limits and the jobs of our employees are on the line.
ALREADY 9 MONTHS WITHOUT ANY GUESTS - POKI POKI ON THE EDGE
The POKI POKI family could not welcome any guests for almost 9 months now. When we, Angie and David started POKI POKI in strong alliance with Nain and Mila, we had many scenarios in our heads for what reasons our project could fail. We would never have thought that a pandemic would shake the world and shake everything that has been built together.
JOBS ON THE LINE
The ongoing pandemic and the associated travel restrictions threaten the jobs of our team. The job in the hotel is the only source of income for our crew. From the bottom of our hearts, we want nothing more than to somehow lead our team through this crisis and continuously secure their income. Alone we are unfortunately reaching our financial limits. That's why we need your support!

The platform "gofundme" charges 0 € for the hosting of the fundraising. The payment service provider charges 2.9% of the donation amount plus an additional € 0.25 per donation. David and Angie will cover the costs of printing and shipping the images.
