Hi, my name is Ana, and I'm fundraising for my sister, Heather, brother-in-law, Lui, and their beautiful family. My brother-in-law, Lui, has been battling Glioblastoma grade 4, an aggressive type of brain cancer, for the last year and a half. He has undergone two brain surgeries, and the second one greatly affected the mobility of his body's right side and his speech. He then began chemotherapy and radiation, which was highly traumatic to his brain and cognitive ability. Over the last year and a half, he has had some good times but has been mainly bound to a wheelchair and had very limited speech. Because of this, he could not return to work at all, and the family has been living off disability wages, which is a fraction of his salary. My sister, Heather, has been working as much as she can, but she is also Lui's full-time caregiver. As his condition has progressively declined, Heather must be with Lui almost all the time to ensure his safety and tend to his needs. As you can imagine, this has created a huge financial hardship on top of what the whole family has been dealing with emotionally and mentally.

Lui, Heather and the family have been surrounded by so much love from extended family and friends. The financial need is much bigger than we are able to fulfill. Any amount that you may be able to give would be greatly appreciated and would dramatically help Lui's family as they navigate this impossible time.
