Help for Jason Perkins and Family

Hi, my name is Lisa. As many of you know my brother has been fighting for his life and they need our help….

My brother has an amazing wife, Hanah. Whom I cherish dearly for being by his side since he has been in the hospital. Jason also has two amazing boys.

Let me start by giving you his story.

In 2019, Jason’s life was changed dramatically when he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. One of the most aggressive forms of leukemia. He went on to receive multiple chemotherapy treatments.  Later that year, the doctors put him on a watch and wait status(remission). He continued with frequent checkups to be monitored closely. Late in 2022 his labs started to become odd.  Our biggest fear was that the AML was back. In March of 2023 he was diagnosed with Myelodysplatic syndrome (MDS). 

Currently he is awaiting a bone marrow transplant. He will receive continued blood transfusions until a donor is found. Once the bone marrow transplant is completed, he will be hospitalized or in temporary lodging out of state near the transplant center for 6 months to a year. They have already been through so much!

As you can imagine this has had a huge impact on their family financially. That’s where I ask for your help. If you can spare a couple dollars it would be greatly appreciated.
