We have set up this GoFundMe to help Mike, Yvonne and their son. Two months after Yvonne gave birth to their son Giovanni she suffered a massive stroke. This has left her with no use of her right side and also a one-word vocabulary.

The reason we are asking for your help is that the system has massively failed them. Even though Mike works hard every day, the loss of Yvonne's income from her job has left a big hole. Not only this their rent took a massive leap just this month, and the support they are supposed to get for families in this situation has not been there.

With very lagging help from social security or medical insurance, we are turning to the community to help. They will need in-home care and rehabilitation. They also need babysitting so Mike can get back to work full-time, as well as help with food and bills until they can catch up and get some breathing room.
